Patricia Burbidge is a contemporary Impressionist painter who lives and works in London . She uses heightened colour and textural paint effects to intensify both watercolours and oil paintings, and has participated in many exhibitions in England, France and Spain. ‘My main source of inspiration is landscape in all its colourful seasons. From the fresh renewal colours of spring to sculptural tonal effects in winter. I hope others will enjoy the colours and moods the painting evoke. I paint landscapes from preparatory sketches made out of doors in such diverse places as Catalonia and the Thames Valley.
